2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Converted to T-Steering, wrong Tie-Rod End?

I converted my 01 to the T steering setup several years back. I have been happy with it, but it is time to replace the outer left tie rod. What is the correct tie rod end for the outer left? It seems the one i have is for the 98 T steering setup, but the tapers on the 01 knuckles are different. The outer tie rod for the 01 is much smaller and i dont think will work with the 98 long Tie rod. Am i missing something here?
