Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Convertor not locking up...Is it time?

Have a 47re and the other day the converter quit locking up. It went through a day of mildly searching for lock up and then it just quit.

3 years ago i replaced the govenor pressure sensor and last year i installed a valve body kit. Other than that, just the 25,000 mile trans fluid changes and i always use chrysler fluid... Is it time for a converter? Any thoughts?

You might check the VSS and and the brake light switch to see if they are ok.
