Another GREAT Bin "I'm so ****** dead" Laden picture

nothing yet but Asst. Chief Rykowski of the East Hartford Fire Dept. told me that they are all set for transport with their t-shirt

drive with a 22 foot box van and TWO 18-wheelers.

However he will be keeping his ears open to see if he can find something for us. i told him that i had five guys ready right now and that i could come up with a bunch more.

guys--we all want to help. please respond if i get the call.

i've known Brian for many years. he's not BS'ing me. if there's something for us, he'll let me know.

Number coming via private msg

If you get a hint that we can really help, try to give me a heads up so I can look into the big triple axle trailer I have access to.

TDR ROCKS!

related: My sister is a VP for a big real estate firm in the City. They are scrambling to find more than 14 MILLION square feet of office space. If this thread's effort does not pan out, I am thinking of hitting up the local state goverment surplus office and trying to drag a trailer load of 100mhz win95/98 computers down to NYC so her office can offer them to the dislocated tenants.

maybe we won't get anything

but you guys are right. we are here and we are ready TO HELP!!

i've reached out to the only official type contact that i know.

i think if we go thru someone like brian, we'd have a bit less hassle down the road (literally). so if you guys know anybody in the official type capacity, work on it. we've got a decent size group going on here.

top of the board?

Is there a way we can keep this post at the top of the messages? Like the "Stickeys"? I would imagine a few weeks, they will need more support. I'm ready to roll.

I work for an environmental waste management company, and will contact the home office tomorrow a. m. to see if there is anything on that front.

Thank you very much

thanks BK-- in addition to being a patriotic TDR member, i AM a nurse and would like to help out maybe rehabing my brothers and our heroes.

Thanks again BK, I will keep the board posted when I dind out about the environmental end of things. Everything that is being removed has to be tested for the potential of haz waste and other stuff.

AMERICA WILL PREVAIL

I'll "sticky" this for you, for a few days, to help out.

Our prayers are with you. Hope you can help out... and our gratitude for it. May God go with you.

tntway, I am flying back east next month and will be in NYC on Oct 13th & maybe 14th, but I'll probably be too late for the T-shirt drive :( Any idea when this might happen? Was there another thread talking about this T-shirt drive? If there was something I could do the 2nd weekend of October, I'm game.

the last i knew...

EHFD was supposed to be trucking their 2 18-wheelers and large box van down yesterday. i think that NYC is probasbly inundated

with stuff now from what i've seen on the tv so...
