humor, again

Gail thought that some of you might like these, he loves them. He told me that some of you like to cook but I wont say who, guys are strange about that kind of thing. :confused:

2 cups butter, melted (real butter)
2 cups brown sugar
2 cups white sugar
2 tsps vanilla
4 eggs
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
4 cups flour
2 cups oatmeal
2 cups cornflakes
1 1/2 C. pecans, chopped
1 cup raisins
1 cup dried cranberries
12 oz chocolate chips

In a large bowl combine first five ingredients , mix well. add next 3 ingredients to mixture, mix well. Fold in remaining ingredients.

Drop heaping spoonful's of dough onto a greased cookie sheet, Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

With a BIG glass of Milk and some of these!!

Those are not the weight watcher kind of cookies for sure!! LOL

Gail's still just a big kid at heart, He and Danny have a snack when Danny gets home from school of Milk and Cookies. Then they work on Danny's homework before going out and having fun in the snow. Lately their fun is being towed behind a mule with a ski rope and them on skis.

The cookies are very good, one batch for us made 63 BIG cookies. :-laf
I have often wondered how many cookies it made for NORMAL PEOPLE!! Gail likes them the size of manhole covers

I also made this recipe. There very good!! The only thing is, I did not know I needed a mixer with a marine 5.9 Cummins powering it!!! That is one big and stiff recipe.

I didn't use a mixer!! I mix by hand so much I must have built up some forearm, wrist, hand strength.

We make our own bread, bagels each week. Want a workout try kneading bread dough 5 loaves a week, pasta a couple times a week and Gail's buttermilk biscuits just about everyday. Gail does turn the crank on the grain grinder.

Still Glad that you all at least tried them and enjoyed the end result!
