Lake Mills, WI - VW TDI GTG

Fuel locations in S.W. Ohio / Tristate?

I will be around......

... . to help out where needed. Like test the food and drink etc. etc. ;)

You guys don't want me mess'n 'round with injection pumps... ... . unless you want lots of smoke and bald rear tires :D

Count me in. I have a room reserved in town @ the Best Western. Will be in the area on Friday eve, probably stay till sunday.

I promise I'll try to keep things low key, but can't help myself when I'm amoungst other diesel rigs. Gets my blood flowing and my right foot gets heavy :-laf

Can't wait Oo.

Philip, no I missed the white 1ton, saw a pic on a diff website. Yeah I talked to the tall guy from TN for about an hour as well. Did you talk to CKNoop I think is his nick, he had the crewcab conversion right behind the red 250 dually from TN?

I plan on making it. Might wait til then for my install of water, oil temps and oil press gauges. Got that governor spring install waiting too. . Hmm. . Got my H1C off last night. Don't know if I want to install the hx35 non-ic'd style or wait for the intercooler I have coming. I'll be in driving the 91 if the 89 is down waiting on parts.

If the weather is fit... ... ... ... ... ... I'll be bringing along the ice cream maker. Maybe some strawberries and brownies.

I'll try to be there also My brother lived in Logensport In. I think lake Missinawa has a state camp ground not far from Peru. Isn't peru on 124 I remember A bend in the road 90degree bend under the rail road then 90 degree's again Then down the road if you didn't make another hard bend you would end up in a barn about 50 ft. off the road assuming you are headed west bound 124. I think they took out the rail bridge and streatened the road.

IF (and only IF- I promised the boss I'd stick around long enough to get his rice out for sure), we have the rice out of the field by then, I might make it.

Bill, I can only ride with Chris if he has a club cab- aint single for the time being, though she doesnt take up much room. :D Irony is, I asked my g/f the other day if she'd like to go camping sometime, and her eyes lit up, "YEAH, that's be awesome!" This is as good a time as any. She might insist on her pickup for a cross country trip, though (04 Dakota). I'll let you know for sure as the day draws nearer.

Oh yea Scott try to fatten us up a little. LOL

They remodeled US124 a few years back. That double turn threw the rail road overpass is gone now. Oo. Oo.

I will include directions from the local area when I send them out in a couple of weeks. There will be contact phone numbers and my CB radio handle if you use on of those devices. :D

Put me down as a definite maybe. I don't currently have anything planned for that day, but who knows what emergency will pop up. Although I don't have a lot of posts on the site, I have been on here for awhile, and do read a lot. It would be good to finally meet some of the people behind the screennames.

I might be able to make it, the Boilermakers will be in South Bend that day, so wont be attending the game. I would say listening to the game on XM would be worth being around diesel enthusiasts such as myself. Might bring the brothers 97 12V, will have to work on fun things to do to it.

DP well if that IF comes true and you can make it, I'd rather ride with the g/f in the AC'd Dakota than a log wagon 1 ton, opps did I just diss our 1st gens??

Philip, does Jeremy have room in the pasture or fields for a few tents? I'm looking at about 3-4 hr drive and wouldn't mind camping on a cool October night... ? No g/f though, I need one!!!!!

I wasn't going to ask this, but since someone else already did.....

Looks like I won't be able to make it :( . Have a family vacation in Tennessee that's been planned since spring that runs through that date. Have fun guys.

Sorry you can't make it Steve. If this outing turns out good. We might do another one next year. :D

I need everyone planing on coming to send me a email. Use this address> -- email address removed --. < Put cookout in the subject line. I will send you a map to Jeremy's house.
