I will be the odd ball... I put one on my 05 and took it off cuz the high pitch whine from the turbo was annoying, especially towing.

I have to admit though it sure looked cool and fit good. I think everyones ears are different, I worked around jets for many years and aways had ear protection for the annoying sounds so maybe it just reminds me of those days.

I would buy another if there was a quite model. :D

Matt

I wonder if a TAG in the hose would quite it down?

I love it! I enjoy the sound of my turbo whistling away while I'm driving. Plan on getting the rest of the kit soon. Looks great and sounds even better.

I just hate the blue. I know this is petty, but I wish it were made in black. I am no fan of bling. I believe the hose to be a quality product, based on reviews read here, but the blue adds a bit of "gimmick appeal" to me.

Any chance of getting it in black, Bryan?

I got mine about 10 days ago. So Far I love it. The trust level isn't there yet as it is so close to the exhaust manifold but nobody here seems to have had a problem. Funny story there was I could hear the turbo big time now but also noted a different guttaral sound too. Dummy me didn't realize I was hearing the atmosphere being sucked out of the three surrounding states to where I was sitting!!! Oh, well. So far so good!

I can have one made in gloss black, they can also be made in gloss red which I'm sure wouldn't appeal to you!

Bryan

The TDR is a powerful tool. I have been getting calls all morning for Black and Red Cool Hoses. I sent a PO to the manufacturer for 5 of each this afternoon.

It`s great to have vendors willing to get what the customers desire.

It was a great pleasure to do business with you Bryan. I`ll be back for more good customer service soon.

I`m glad to help promote a Quality product and a Quality Vendor as well.

Bryan,

Is it possible to get a mixed color set of the intake/intercooler hoses?

I am thinking that a black airbox to turbo intake hose would be great.

I would like to have the turbocharger to intercooler hoses red, and the intercooler to manifold hoses blue. What are your thoughts?

Thanks.

Bryan,

I would like to talk to you about ordering 2 of the Complete Cool Hose Kits in Gloss Black, but need to know if the Cool Black Hose will take the place of my AFE Stage 2 systems plastic tube, how it attaches to the AFE PG7 filter and where will I mount the air sensor?

Question for other members that have performed this MOD.

I am interested in the Cool Blue Hose (actually in gloss black) and want to install it on my trucks. However, I already have the AFE Stage II intake system. I was wondering how the Cool Blue Hose attaches to the AFE PG7 filter, or if it even does in a mechanically sound mannor.

I was thinking that if the Cool Blue Hose would not attache directly and mechicanically sound to the filter, that a short piece of 4 inch? metal tube (like SS Exhaust pipe) between the AFE Filter and the Cool Blue hose might do the trick and then just use a clamp on each side.

So those that have done this or have a Cool Blue Hose - How did you do it????

On edit - This might be better servered as it's own thread - So I am going to start a new thread on this question.

Bryan,

I think it would look pretty cool. I have seen some big, over the road CATs and Detroits with that look. Could you please PM me a price, unless you can post it here on the thread (TDR rules?). Thanks.
