Not Happy with Centerforce at all!!

HTT's new turbo's????

I was just wondering if the cool blue hose is any better than the AFE torque tube????

I have gone through 2 rubber couplers so far.....

1st one i melted to turbo

2nd one fell apart where the edge of the tube meets the edge of the compressor housing/turbo.....

Looking at getting cool blue hose and was just wondering if its worth the money? The cool blue hose looks as if it only uses 2 clamps with no rubber couplers..... Appears to me it looks like a much cleaner set-up... .

Doughboy - I really like my CBH. It is a clean installation and has held up to the heat just fine. I'll try to post a picture if I can resize it correctly. The picture shows the stock airbox in place but I have an AFE stage 1 now and every thing fits fine. It draws a few comments when I have my hood open.

I use the Cool Blue Hose and a modified intake box (4 inch hose out the bottom), and see much lower EGT's especially when towing. I am using the stock air filter. The AFE didn't do any better job on my old truck, and I prefer to have no hassles with my warranty.

The Cool Blue Hose is made of silicone reinforced with several layers of webbing and it resists higher temperatures than hard plastics and rubber couplers. No one has ever reported a failure of any kind using the CBH.
