Cool Down Timer

What would you need a 240 min timer for. They offer 5 min & 240 min seem's 5 min is plenty, unless im missing somthing.

I am unsure as to what or which cool down timer your referring to? But if it is in reference to the "Cool Down Timer" offered on the DTR, then it offeres three settings. 2-4-6 minuet times for the cooling cycle.

the cool-down timer offered on the DTR is approximately 1/3 the price of the turbo life saver. It looks to be a very nice unit designed by one of the members. There is a review of it on the site somewhere. I read it a few weeks ago.

Thats the one I was refering to. It is simple and works. If you want more style go elsewhere. Know one needs to have a cool down timer, but they sure do come in handy. And it isn't a bother to allow the truck to idle anymore. You can also take the timer out of it's case and do a more custom in dash mount.

I like the idea of the one offered @ Geno's if the switch is on then you can't start the truck even if you have the key if you don't know where the switch is. Kinda anti theft. I just couldn't figure a resone to let you CTD idle for 240 min. Harv

Yea, poorfolks like me can't afford that kind of money. At least not when there is a transmission fund going on.
