In my quest for a cooler engine while pulling grades in the heat, I came across this web site.

They offer a pure coolant replacement that is non corrosive, has better cooling properties, claims to increase MPG by up to 5% and should never need to be flushed or replaced. Among other claims. Sounds too good to be true?? Who knows. Inital cost is pricey, but if it does as claims, will be way cheaper in the long haul.

I don't know what they are using, but I worked on an Air Force program where the aircraft used something called Coolinal made by Chevron to cool the high output electronic devices (EW transmitters and such). The stuff was clear like water but had the viscosity of a silicon lubricant and did a really good job of removing heat. It was non conductive, non corrosive and never had to be changed . That was some good stuff.
