Need a Turbo for Towing

fuel pump question

When my wife takes short trips into town and comes back, I notice coolant dripping from under her truck (sixteen months old). I haven't had the opportunity to crawl under the truck yet at the right time (crawled under it once after a long trip & no coolant dripping). The question is... . what is the big mystery regarding coolant? I couldn't find the equivalent for the recommended HOAT/1000,000 mile stuff at the local quickie parts chain.

I bought some PRESTONE one size fits all but I'm somewhat reticent about adding it to the current mix. Any suggestions or comments?

New truck , I would go to dealer to see what they have to say , being that its under warrentee , and you should not have to deal with it , let alone spend money out of pocket .
Then post what they say to check if what they say sounds fishy to any here .
If you get whatever coolant from the parts house & theres an issue , thats were some dealers would say that is there opportunity to bale on the warrentee .
If you have a good dealer they will say , sorry for the hassle , we will fix it right now , is there anything els we can do .

Thanks. That's pretty much all the prompting I needed to keep the Prestone in the jug. I'll go by the dealership for the Mopar brand this evening and see if I can get the truck in sometime next week.

Except for an oil leak right after we bought the truck,we haven't had any complaints. The oil leak was a malaligned oil return from the turbo to the block... . hard to find, easy to fix.

Thanks again

Mopar coolant is way too expensive. Zerex G-05 is the same stuff, except for color. Still not cheap, but it sure beats the dealer's price.
