hay guys

I noticed that i had coolant on the ground so i looked under the hood and found that around the radiator cap and lower was wet .

I think it is the hose that goes to the reservoir so i cut the bad piece of and put it back on and drove for a few days no leak but it was colder out than before so now yesterday i go out and there is the leak.

So the question is if the reservoir is too full could that put enough pressure on the Little hose and clamp for it to leak?

I had a problem with my resevoir losing siphon to the radiator and the radiator having a low fill level due to the leak at the same place. This is not good for keeping corrosion build up down.

I noticed that there was a clamp on the hose at the resevoir, but not at the radiator. I simply installed a clamp on the radiator side, topped off radiator, and applied pressure to the vent on the overflow bottle (resevoir) with compressed air to fill the line and put the cap back on. Has not leaked since.

I still think that it is kind of cheap of DC to not install a clamp on both ends of the hose. I have seen many trucks with only the clamp on the overflow tank side.

You are so right i dint even notice that. I will put the clamp on tomorrow thanks if it work's. Its all ways stupid stuff like that I HATE THAT!!!!!!!!!!
