Archived Coolant Leak

coolant leak around the ac unit cant tell if it is a hose or something else . can any one tell me if there is something in that area to look for. loosing a lot of fluid in that area and if not a hose is this a warranty issue with 70,000 miles.



it is between the alternator and the ac unit cant see where the leak is coming from butt there is fluid on the ground after driving around. had a problem with the radiator reservoir fix that problem if not that what do i do or how do i find my problem.

any ideas would help hard to locate leak every thing is wet and stays wet in that area.

Sounds like the water pump (that smoothe pulley near the fan). There is a weep hole in the bottom (and top), you might try using a mirror to see it that is where it is coming from(with the engine off of course). That shouold be covered by the 100,000 mile engine warranty. bg

it was the water pump and they are ordering the part and fixing it tomorrow UNDER WARRANTY THANK YOU 100,000 MILE ENGINE WARRANTY
