 Went for a 25 mile drive this morning and the cooling fan kicked on before the truck even warmed up and it wil not shut off. I unplugged it for a while and drove about twenty more miles. Decided to plug it back in and sure enough it will not kick off. I have had some trouble with the overflow tank dripping when I hit the drive just right but it is down where it is supposed be hot and cold. I didn't have ac on when it first came on and it was only around 160 degrees when it first kicked on. I have had an injector tick for about 6000 miles and am wondering if I have some problem with pressurizing the cooling system or something. Ijust can't figure why it would come on and stay on? It is only 50 degrees and all highway driving never went over 200 degrees???

You say you didn't have the A/C on, but did you turn the defroster on or have the selector set to the defroster/floor blend position?

Dave, I dont know what your driving (no sig?) but some of the early 03's and 04's had an issue with the control wire for the clutch fan chafing and shorting out. To check it you have to lay under the truck and look straight up at the bottom of the clutch fan. You'll see a channel running up towards the hub with the wires in it. I dont remember what it shorts to ~ I was lucky and had no chafing.
