Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
It appears to be time for my rig's coolant change and flush. I noticed some white buildup at the ends of the rad. tubes and I want an effective flush. Otherwise the system is in good shape. I don't suspect any oil contamination as the source of the white stuff since it's not milky and is confined.
What are you guys using for a cooling system cleaner and a fill? I was going to try the Fleetguard premix since I wont have to worry about water quality while mixing with the straight stuff.
Is anyone using anything like a sacrifical anode (zinc) to hold off corrosion? I once used one from JC Whitney years ago in a car and I thought it worked. While I was maintaining a fleet of CAT powered boats, they had Zinc anodes screwed into pipe plugs that went into the water jacket (fresh water cooled w/ exchanger).
What are some tactics used to get all coolant out of the engine?
What sorrow I felt when I read about the passing of Frank. I have dealt with him in the past and was a good Man. The Lord works in ways we will never know.
