I got Cooper Discoverer M&S on the back and Discoverer H/T on the front of my truck yesterday. I replaced 235 85's with 265 75's, and must say that I am impressed with the wet traction of the back tires (haven't gotten to try snow yet) and the directional stability of the H/T's. Crosswinds and road crown have little effect, nor do grooves in the road. Where before I tended to sort of wallow down the road, making general corrections with the steering, the truck now goes precisely straight, with extremely small motions of the steering making immediate detectable changes in the truck's travel. You now hold the wheel motionless for long periods of time, with no need to correct the slight wandering it used to do.
I'm quite convinced they ride more firmly than the tires I removed, however that's not a big deal to me. They are all 8 ply, load range E rated.
I got my tires from costire.com (reasonably good for us here in the NW, due to shipping concerns) with all 4 tires AND mount and balance coming to a grand total of 404. 35.
I drove the 70 miles to the store and picked them up, which saved me about 30 bucks.
BTW, it sure is nice to drive on ROUND tires, instead of the eggs that used to be
