I just bought a set of Cooper S/T-C tires yesterday. Size 265/75 R16 Load range E. First Impressions are, off the road performance ( just going in and out of wet fields, not mudding or true off roading) very impressed, look on the truck- impressed, noise from tire- none, smoothness of ride- very good, handling in corners and curves- very displeased :{ . Over all I am concerned about the tires leaning in the turns. I haven't put a trailer behind it either so I hope the truck will still be stabile with a trailer.

I bought the S/T in a 305/70-16. They don't make the larger sizes in the S/T-C.

Maybe it's because I have the larger size, but I'm not having the handling problem you describe in the corners or curves.

I replaced a set of Nitto Terra-Grapplers with the Coopers only because I was disappointed with their offroad performance. Here in Southeast Texas we have black gumbo mud and with all the rain this year, the Nittos were having a problem with spinning and causing huge ruts. The Coopers will walk right out of the area with minimal wheel spin and less ruts. :) I liked the road manners of the Nittos, but you can't have the best of both worlds.

Growing up my Father and Grandfather must have made me fill in every rut on the levee roads going into the rice fields and everytime I see an unnecessary rut my eye starts to twitch. Already have the 7 y/o filling in his atv ruts in the back pasture.
