I'm partial to Milwaukee tools. I have an older 12V 1/2" that I use a lot. It is built a lot better than the newer all plastic jobs, imho.

I've used a lot of Hilti powder actuated nail guns and rotary drills (TE18). IMHO they are very good tools.

Texas Diesel, that sounds like you got a bargain. I looked at Milwaukee 1/2 impact cordless in Northern tools today and they were something like $369.

Tax swindle refund on its way... ... hmmmmm ;)

'OlTrailDog - maybe that's me you were referring to on the Milwaukee bargain. I thought it was a pretty good deal too. The V28 cordless impact is $429. 99 on northerntool and pretty close to that on amazon. For $345, I got that plus the hammer-drill. I'm anxious to try them out.

What gives? I just went to Amazon and burnstools. The ad for the V28 free tool promotion says it ended March 31st. The Milwaukee v28 tools site says the promotion is done.

HeavyHauler, do you know something I don't ? Or did you get in before March 31st? Or did they extend the offer. Or we they willing to give you a "break"?
