Let me start off by saying, I joined TDR not too long ago, and I've only really been reading posts, and havent seen much on what there is to do w/ core pumps. I work at a local Dodge dealer, and as you guys know all we do is remove and replace OEM, so I am still blind on the aftermarket side. I have recently been converted when I bought my 01 ETH 6-spd, and I will never own another gasser again. I've learned a lot from this website, and I'd still be in the dark without all of your help. I'll quit bs'in and I'll ask my question!
Well, a few days ago I picked up a core VP from a co-worker's brother. He said he swapped it in a truck due to popping/misfiring while engine was cold, and the kid he did the work for never took the core. No codes when he swapped the pump, so that leads me to believe the internal electronics are fine. I was wondering on some recomendations on where or if it's even possible to have this thing sent out to be rebuilt/turned up for a spare pump. The only issue is I have a 01 ETH, and this pump was pulled out of a 01 non-ETH. Any ideas on who to send this too would be extremely helpful. .
