Anytime I get a chance I try to talk people out of using Frams for any application.
Back in the 80s I worked for a company producing fuel filters for just about everything out there. The quality control standards for the Chrysler oem filters was higher than every after market fuel filter, the Fram being the lowest.
If a filter leaked air on the water test for Chrysler they would be set aside. The pressure would then be lowered to Fram specs and tested again. They were even allowed to leak a certain number of bubbles per minute for Fram
