Friends,
I tried posting in the previous thread on recent winter storms impact in the South, but it was locked down. This one may as well, but for my part, there's no political discussion intended.
So, with the above statement in mind, I want to share I saw on the San Antonio TX news that the fuel bill 4 or 5 days of severe winter event could be a BILLION dollars just to CPS. IMHO, this fuel bill will be financed by the CPS customers, unless there is ground for legal suit against the fuel provider. This likely ties into what the CPS CEO mentioned on TV earlier that the cost could be distributed on customer bills over 10 to 15 years.
Lots of TX leadership involved in the state level management have resigned (likely fired) related to the two back to back severe weather events. This comes up to the EDGE of going political, but again, my intent is to focus on the impact, results, and ongoing actions.
Please keep in mind, the impact listed above is JUST for San Antonio area. TOTAL COST of this event in TX likely WAY more $$$$$$.
Cheers, Ron
