I must have gotten a good set of OEM Michelin's because I am at 58,000 miles and still have about 10,000 miles left on them. I have the tires rotated every other oil change ( 15,000 rotation) cost is only $15. 00. I figure that the money is well spent with the mileage I am getting out of them. Problem now is that I need to start checking out replacement tires and don't know if I should get another set of Michelin's or go with something else. Sam's seems to have the best prices around here on tires. I haul RV's for Dealers and also haul around 20,000 lbs on my goose-neck every other day. I can't complain about the Michellins.

I've been doing a lot of research and have my search down to two tires. The Toyo M-55 and the Michelin XPS Tractions. Both are heavy duty go anywhere tires that don't make a lot of noise on the road per present owners. The XPS Tractions are all steel and recappable. Both are very cool running tires, this is one of the major factors contributing to the longevity of a tire. Owners claim that they normally get up wards of 80K miles from a set of both of these tires.

In Connecticut, if you go to Town Fair Tire, Rotation is FREE!

I don't know if you guys have one near by or not. I couldn't believe it myself but their philosophy is give a little and hopefully they will get the new tire business.

Ive rotated mine 3X for free still original OEM tire with 42K, looks like Ill get another 10-15K out of these hopefully?

Hmmm... Great minds think alike! I am in need of a rotation and started to check prices. Did not find any free offers but WALLY WORLD for $7. 50/ wheel will do lifetime rotate and balance. Every 5k. Not a bad deal. I suppose you will have to watch them just as you have to watch ANY tire shop. They do not hire rocket scientists to handle tires.
