Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Cost of Transmission fluid change?

What have you guys been paying for a fluid change. I just bought this 2500 here in Orlando and the dealer wants $180 for a transmission fluid change that seems real high.

Auto or manual. If manual, 5 speed or 6 speed.

The cost for a transmission fluid change at the Dodge dealer in Watsonville California is 200. 00. That is using the flushing machine. No band adjustment or filter change.

$40 for fluid, $10 filter, 1 hour time



Change every 10K miles in my DTT... run cheap fluid and do it often, as per recommended by the builder.

We have the same flusher and what a joke that is... ... no band ajusment or filter change? Sure the flushing machine cleans more fluid but the filter needs to be changed. Cost changes when you have to have type +3 or type +4 fluid.

The truck center where I get my oil changed charges me $40 bucks, includes filter but they don't adjust the bands.
