Could the ISSPRO turbo monitor destroy the engine??? (Low coolant &/or Cold kit)

Now this would depend on a few things, but here is my concern.



If the truck developed a coolant leak (unnoticed) and or had a cold weather kit on it, and the truck was left in the driveway, if the truck is getting hotter, and causing the egt's to rise, the monitor wouldn't shut the truck off. What I'm wondering is if this item has provisions for this, and or if there is a system you can install that would shut the truck off if the operating temp rised above a safe level?



Any suggestions & or ideas?



I'm getting ready to install mine, and will put an emergency cutoff switch on the dash for override of the item.
