Just got done purchasing an Edge Juice w/ attitude. Oo. Talked with Mark Graig @ DPP and he made me a deal I couldn't pass up. :D Great place to deal with all around, they even set me up with a pillar mount. Anyways, with the stock 48RE, what's a good level to stay at or under. Also what level is everyone seeing as producing the best mileage?

I dont know about the best mileage, cant keep my foot off the floor. I had the standard Juice and now have the HOT juice. I stay on the 80hp setting normally. I have actually had about 1mpg increase on this setting. That is just sick, because I will try to beat about anything to the next stop light. The 60hp setting is probably the best mileage setting, but do not baby it. Just drive it like you would a vette and your mileage will be better than driving like an old man in a station wagon.

I've found on mileage that you can get at least as good running it on 4 as on 1. Why? Seems like less stress or pull on the engine to achieve the same power and therefore better mileage with the higher level. On the 48re you can run it on 3 like you stole it. Above that you can still run it hard up to your 3rd to od shift and then you better be pulling out of it. Just a few runs wot that go into od will toast your od clutches. If you just want to drive it on all levels as hard as you want then plan on some big transmission upgrades. Been there.

Oo. Just got back from my first run with the Juice Oo. Wow! coasted across the cattle guard on the on-ramp, hammered it, and by the time I hit the end of the short and uphill on-ramp, I was doing 90! Got really lucky too, I had just run it up to about 110 and coasting down, just got back down to 75 and noticed a Highway Patrol coming at me. No cherries though. Tires are a little mad at me from the town part of the test drive I think though. Hehe, makes easy work of turning those 35's over.

NLamke,

I read your post and shot an e-mail out to Mark Craig of DPP, inquiring about buying two Juices w/ Attitude monitors and he did give a deal I could not pass up. So needles to say I have two systems on the way!. He is a great guy to deal with, a real straight shooter, I have purchased my exhaust parts from his company as well.
