Competition Be Scared!!!!

Anyone mess around with a centrifugal vortex blower + a big single on these trucks yet? Be nice to have 8 PSI on tap instantly. Solve that low boost issues off idle, and smoke issues a lot of people don't like.
 
Most centrifugal blowers have a lag problem too, so you'd be better off with a roots or screw-style supercharger, I just have no idea how you would mount it. The old Detroits fed a big single turbo into a roots charger direct mounted to the block as an intergral intake, which was a cool setup, but kinda wide. They needed it though, due to the lack of low-end usually found in a 2 stroke.
 
yeah, your right on the lag on that point. I suppose.



There was a supercharger for a jeep 4. 0 I think (turbo setup as well). that fit right on top of the intake manifold. looked funky.
