I attended the dyno event in Oak Grove,MO today put on my Floor-it Diesel - They had the twin-retarder load dyno there (nicknamed "heart breaker" due to really showing the load to big hp trucks, sometimes hp not what ya thought)

Well I figured about 520 with the TST program I have and a minor wastgate tune...

Much to my amazement (after we figured out what load to use as to spool the honking turbo... ) -- I finally cracked 500! 526hp to be exact!!

woo-hoo!!! Good buy CON OFE clutch, Cause I better step up before I get some shower-head injectors/CAM/CP3/etc

Anyway, If anyone gets chance at this dyno, It is pretty darn nice... The the runs are the same amount of time, And if you want to play, you can just load the heck out of the truck (darn hot though)

Very nice Tom. I took a couple runs on a Mustang Saturday TST alone and put down 494. Not what I was hopeing for but I only saw 1450°. I need to get a set of studs.

Congratulations Tomeygun!

Did you change something from when you dynoed 496?

More boost from a wastegate adjustment, and a different TST program...

And the Load dyno was cool, that I could make sure the turbo was spooled - I maxed at 46 psi

Nice number Tomeygun. You will catch DLange before you know it. You guyz need to get over to gateway and line em up.

Tuesdays are street nights at gateway, Guess I better practice row'in those gears - Maybe a 3rd gear launch? (maybe a fragged clutch? :-laf )

I practiced my third gear launches the other night (in 2wd so I wouldn't break anything) and it's apparently possible to leave a pair of rubber trails 80 ft long as the truck tracks sideways down the highway :D Sure wished I had it on video  No way my stock clutch would have done that.

What kind of torque? These are still trucks, I need both numbers;)

Guessing:

2577 rpm at 65MPH (is 1:1 with 265/70 tire)

So you have --- 526hp = (X*2577rpm)/5252 -----

So I guess X= about 1072 ft-lb's torq

That sounds about right :D

Hey TomeyGun if your gonna guess go BIG. How com John doesn't have an optical pickup for his dyno? Or do ya know.

I hear the Dyno maker was getting ready to release a ODB port hook up (which would be AMAZING, because you can read Rail PSI, RPM, Boost, Load, and so much more) - So they did not want to spend unneeded money when that is coming so soon (Thats what I deducted, Not actually direct info from John)

Congrats on the good numbers... What settings are you guys running your boxes on??

I ran on 7/6 - under 500, Then ran 8/7 with 4mph/sec load - And thats the 526 run

For fun I ran a "rail killer" run - 9/8 (and with my super-twins TST) - And that poor truck was running SOOO low of rail pressure (but tons of smoke due to terrible atomization) - I only managed like 475ish hp -- But it sure looked good through those stacks!!

Another vid of TST setting 9/8 - Major rail drain
