Do any of you gents use a car cover. I have a 95 duelly, tow mirrors. My yard is all trees, tough to keep clean and the sap makes me nuts. Was thinking a cover might be simple, but man they get big bucks.

Any thoughts? Anyone bought one? Like it hate, tried something else?

thanks.

I ordered a truck cover many years ago and I think they ran somewhere in the $320. 00 range. I use to always use it but lately I have not. They do make them to fit over the big mirrors, mine has them to.

actualy, I was interested in how you thought it worked, brand, quality, all that. Obviously it wasnt all that hot if you no longer bother with it. As to a carport, the local zoning nazis make it real hard.
thanks

costco has a portable car port. it has a metal pipe frame covered with a white tarp. it was not that much money but i dont recall exact price. seems like it was $159. 00. robert

I have seen them at Costco and one of my neighbors has one with a small car in it. I don't think they are large enough for a truck.

I have a California Car Cover for my dually and big mirrors. I just ordered it for the mirrors as it's one of the options. The cover fits like a glove but I dislike this particular material. It's "Noah" fabric, which supposedly is "highly dust resistant. " That's my big complaint, it holds the dust then when it rains it creates mud on the truck. I don't know what I can do to eliminate that but otherwise the cover is great.

i checked at costco and it was $159. 00. it is 10 x 20'. didnt check the height of it. it is hell to get old! but if not high enough you could build a wood foundation to rasie it up. no permit needed. your truck may hang out a little? robert
