Newsom and his cronies are botching California's launch. We're almost the worst in the nation. WV and Texas are at the top. This has been mishandled from the top down. The government,states and cities had months to get prepared.

Im getting the first shot on feb 8th. Il let you know if it kills me or makes my hair fall out. If it makes my hair grow back though, Im keeping that a secret.

My 78 year old parents got the first round last week. My brother, 54 year old type 1 diabetic, got his first one the week before. No problems. I’ll be getting mine as will the rest of my family as soon as we can.

Personally, I don’t understand not taking it. A vaccine is all that stopped small pox, polio, measles, hepatitis, and others.

They did all the normal studies that would normally take place. The potential side effects are pretty well known and spelled out, they are similar to any other vaccine.

Long term? I suppose one could wait long term to find out.....BUT, we do KNOW what the effects of COVID are, right now.... for those who have underlying issues and a few who don't. Far, FAR more people (many orders of magnitude more) will have very negative side effects from COVID....including death.

I'll go with what we know.

I thought I heard/read that vaccines go through 3 trials but because of the fast roll out the 3rd has not been completed or done.

Not true.

Both Pfizer and Moderna finished phase 3 in November.....when they announced the efficacy rate.

More deaths and injuries are being reported around the world. These risks are why you should be able to choose whether or not to take the vaccine. The wife of a friend works at a health clinic. They were lined up to get their vaccines and the first person in line (23 years old) collapsed with chest pain after her shot and was rushed to the hospital. Needless to say, enthusiasm to get the vaccine by the workers dissipated quickly.
