It sounds like your truck is set up very well and in my perspective it seems stupid to not to get the most out of all your mods. I think you wont notice any ill effects if you left the stock cp3 and wasnt WOT at level 5 all day long, but since you have invested all this time and money I think you should plan on a TST, pressure box, and a stage 2 cp3.

If you had a TST the draining rail I think would be more prevelent but since your hot juice isnt as aggressive at a TST, pressure and ? triple stack I think you can wait a bit longer and save up for more mods.

I say take your truck to its full potential and get a stage 2 cp3 and a TST

This is along the same lines, so I'll ask my question. We are currently running an EZ on lvl 2 and smarty on various timing levels (3-7) on our 2003. Does this combo drain the rail, or would even numbers on the smarty be better. We are going to be adding an aftermarket fuel system soon.

Does draining the rail result in high EGT's because they are nuts, like 1200 deg by 45 mph. I've been eyeing the super stock 62/14 from htt for the truck to help EGT's.

what i was saying is that they make the most with great results, "makes and sells the most of the cp3's" :D

II does not "make" the CP3s they mod them. As for the do the most, does that mean something? Amsoil is not the largest oil manufacturer so how by your thought process can they be the one to go with? Southbend is not the largest manufacturer of clutches so by your thought process how can they be the ones to go with? Volume does not mean the "best".

I happen to run Amsoil in my truck and have a Southbend clutch in my truck because I think they are the best.

I was involved in the Floor It pumps way more they you ever thought you were and have talked with Brady and Cody, delt with, sold, and installed a number of II CP3s. Floor It has some issues in the early days but they are and have been worked out and the new things coming are cool.

So keep pushing yourself, I just am suprised allot of your venders have not asked you to tone it down because you look like such an a** and have links to them in all of your posts.

Sorry for the off topic guys.

07' will be another year like 06' as far as innovation in diesel performance goes i can promise you that.

Yes it will, I suggest looking in Floor It's direction for more CP3 and Fuel related products just waiting to be copied.

I'm going to ride at my current setup, to see what comes out in the next little while before I get too excited about modded cp3(s), injectors, larger rail, larger injector tubes etc

What is actually done to a Modded cp3

Just another question on the CP3, on a modded CP3 what are they doing to get more flow? Do they change gears, make ports bigger? Just courious? I just got my II CP3 yesterday, now all I need is a motor! Come on Scheid Diesel, I'm getting hungry!
