last week my truck started abruptly defueling around 3000. it would totally lose power until you let off the throttle and eased into it(also noticed cp3 seeping fuel). pulled everything off and checked power adders one by one and found it would only do it with the smarty. called bob wagner, helped me reprogram smarty, same thing, so it isnt the smarty, called the dealer told them my problems, they said cp3. the whole time it still does this but gets worse every day. just got my industrial injection modded cp3 today but im worried that i overlooked something simple that could be causing these problems. My recon gauge has been showing some weird readings, like 37 psi at idle ( it gets reading from wire going to map sensor)

In years past I've installed Power adders(boxes/turbos etc)on customers trucks and had them defuel and fall on their face but stock ran good. FUEL FILTER was the problem. Could it be that simple?

do you have a fuel pressure gauge is it low? what is the rail pressure? your smarty is giving it more fuel than you can produce. i agree with the above start with the fuel filter if that does not help. what is the fass a 95 150 or 200 gph? unless your cp3 is bad i think it would keep up. mine did at least with injectors and crazy larry but i ran into problems with the predator box added and i am running dual cp3 now more consistant flow than a modded pump but they work good too.

installed the new pump. same thing. I have the fass 150gph. I haven't installed a checkpoint for the fuel press. but i did turn on the key while i had the hose off and it'll pour the fuel almost 1/2 gal in 6-7 seconds
