Hi Guys. I just purchased and installed a 33% CP3 pump. I'm running a Smarty with the following settings Sw7,trq 4, Rail pressure 3,pwr 99 & timing 2. my truck feels good but here is what I am trying to figure out. I can't get my rail pressure over 23,500 psi,my EGT's are about 1250-1300 @ WOT and boost is at 42 lbs. I would think with a stock turbo my EGT's would be higher and rail pressure would be closer to 26500. Any thoughts? Bad rail pressure valve maybe? Also my mileage is down 3MPG. I have always got 19- 20 MPG now I can't get over 16-17. I'm thinking if my rail pressure is down I'm not fully optimizing my fuel and that's hurting my mileage. Thanks guys.
 
factory sensor is good to meter to 23. 5 and read to 26K 23. 5 is good rail pressure, don't trust the factory sensor for running pressure any higher. Bosch has another sensor that can read and Meter to 30K,but its $325. 00 and you need the correct gage to read to 30K.
 
I lost close to 2 mpg with the ArsonIII kit.

TNTR SW7 also had my rail pressure at lower levels at all throttle positions except WOT,where it would hit and hold 25/26k on my rp gauge. I went back to SW6, rail pressure is back to what I am used to seeing, and truck seems to respond better at light throttle applications.

I would really like to dyno the two SW's for comparison, but I am thinking SW6 may be the winner. need to schedule some tuning time.
 
So you aren't running any timing with the Smarty? Isn't SW6 with no timing? What are you running for rail pressure setting on Smarty? No shims or plugs added to the rail. Thx

SW6 is stock timing, not no timing... I'm using timing 3, rail pressure 1, rail is capped, but my EZ is on 2.
