Quick question. Would you guys like to be able to run at 20 psi for daily driving and be able to increase pressure to 40 or 50 at the flick of a switch or is this not a concern for most?

Richard

It would seem that there should be less wear over time with the ability to turn 'er down when you don't need it. What do you have in mind?? :D

Just something I've been brewing over when I can't sleep :-laf (which is more often than not). I'm still trying to get a feel for what guys would prefer. I'll take any input I can get.

Richard

Having 20 psi for every day driving would be great for the pump and then being able to flip a switch and have say 50 to 60 psi for race mode would be ideal IMO!!

John

My thoughts exactly. Just wasn't sure if the general user would consider it a benefit or was even concerned with it for that matter. I'll keep going this direction and see where I end up cost wise. Thanks John. Your input as always is greatly appreciated!

why not just crank it up to 80 psi and take the gears out of the gear pump on back of the cp3!

But not if you have a FASS - the factory filter is not used on the engine

ITs an idea...

BTW - the regulator I will use will have a 1:1 boost reference available.

SOOO... . idle=15psi, at 45lbs boost, 60lbs from the regulator!

Cool huh?

Sounds like my new setup except it's on the return side. Normal operation is not that high but hook up a boost signal in about 5 minutes at say an event and smack down some really high fuel pressures.
