I am looking to get a modded Cp3 pump. . who has the best price, knowledge and availiblity of this pump. . any help would be greatly appreiciated. . thanks

Oo. dustin, i would be glad to help you with all you cp3 and power needs, i have sold and R&D'ed quite a few pumps among other items. i am quite sure that i can offer you the best cp3 avalible. :eek: thank you

OK WHERES THE DYNO SHEETS AND IS ANYONE OVER 750 WITH A STAGE TWO PUMP, DIESEL ONLY
 
From what I here John over there at Floor-it Diesel is making a good stage two pump. I have had a few people point me in his direction when I was looking for a pump. But I decided to go the stupid way and just keep runnin my truck until I run the rail dry. Maybe I will get down around 12,000 with my new box's on the way. But until then, I don't see the need for a moded CP3.
 
I say look to the high HP truck and see they are running...



Jwilliams3 - black sledpulling truck - I think he runs a Floor-it Diesel stage 2 - over 650hp I bet

Lmills - Runs a Floor-it Diesel stage 2 - over 600hp



I say call John at Floor-it diesel, heck - hes the one that actually designed the mods to the pump, etc



I have the Stage one - Nice... But I think stage 2 is the ticket

Dont forget about RCCox and his 800+HP 11 second truck with the Relentless Diesel CP3 set up. Its a bit more involved than a CP3 swap but you dont run high pressure as well which is a nice bennifit IMO, just maintain stock pressures.

Settle for no other duplicates of this style. He pioneered it and others would like to copy.

is that the stage 3 pump :confused:
 
Its a modified front gear case that uses a very slightly modified CP3 (pressure limiting valve all that I know of) with a larger OD pump gear to spin the CP3 faster flowing more volume (not pressure) from the pump maintaining pressure. RC only sees pressure of 26K with very little drop at WOT. They only have one stage but RC was experimenting with some other mods on his pump and calling it a stage 2.

John at Floor it is a great guy, but i think if you want the most out of you cp3 then you need to call Ind. Injection. Their stage II is rate at 60% over stock and John's stage II is rateds 24% over stock. All of John's pumps have to go to Ind. inj. anyway. Both Industrial Injection and John were working real close together so i do not know what the deal is at present time. Brett and Brady didn't want to step on John's toes so they may be still partners in the CP3 modding. Give both a shout. John did get me into the high 800's with a best of 893 HP and way over 700 HP on just diesel. You can't go wrong with John at floor it or Brett and Brady over at Ind. Inj. when it comes to modded Cp3's.

I'm not totally sure, But I thought the stage2 I. I. pump is not "your CP3" - I think it is a totally different Cp3 -- Actually a "CP3. 4"



I heard it is goofy big and moves an insane amount of fuel, and carries a price tag to match :D



BTW - 700hp on #2? Thats sicks, I mean it. . SICK!!

And if you want to get REALLY sick, Take a Floor-it pump and use it in a Relentless Diesel Front cover with the faster gearing... that would be just goofy...

Oo. i have the I. I modded pump on my truck now, and wow---what a difference i know my truck is over 700hp on diesel, the modded pump is considered a stage 2. like i said if you want the best it can be delivered :--)

RCCox is proven to be over 800HP. Maybe not on #2 alone, but over 800 is what he said. He has shown it at a national event and proven it.



Unlike some, he hasn't hid behind a monitor. He has proven his HP numbers in front of others. In fact, most of us here have shown what we have in front of others
 
Do you think the modded pump will be dependable for a daily ride? Are there any downsides to it? This would be for my tow truck that pulls equipment and my pro streeter. . I'd like to get in the 12's, but so far it's 13. 5's...
 
Said it before, will say it again... . I drive mine daily and do everything with it anyone else would. RCCox drives his daily also for work as with many others.
 
Tommy Gun, i am correct. the cp3. 4 flow 240% over stock. The stage II flows 60%. The cp3. 4 is much larger and takes a lot of time to install.

As well Richard Brown of Browns Diesel has proven his number and showed up at Diesel Nationals I believe...



I agree with Lmills, one person I cant remember seeing any dyno graphs or hearing about people meeting, etc. . and that would be Diesel Power



Always alot of talk, I want to see some ground pounding video!!

Geez, 240% over stock - Thats down right sick... Move over 12v!
