RCCox is proven to be over 800HP. Maybe not on #2 alone, but over 800 is what he said. He has shown it at a national event and proven it.

Unlike some, he hasn't hid behind a monitor. He has proven his HP numbers in front of others. In fact, most of us here have shown what we have in front of others

800hp equates to a lot faster than a 11. 70-----but you allready new that right!!!!

I was at TS and watched RC's truck lay down 818 with my own two eyes on David Dunbar's dynojet... the one that is THE measuring stick that all other dynos compare to (In my opinion, anyway). Just two weeks later RebB did 826 on the same dyno with the same operator. That's pretty darn close, and I think it shows that both methods work for increasing power. Also, if you take RC's trap speed of 116 and do the math you'll see that the 818 is very close to the calculated HP. If you were to tear these pumps apart you would find that they're dirt simple and the methods for increasing flow are obvious. These two companies have each of the two different methods figured out... now just to combine them :)

i have the I. I modded pump on my truck now, and wow---what a difference i know my truck is over 700hp on diesel, the modded pump is considered a stage 2. like i said if you want the best it can be delivered

I'd settle for just seeing a dyno sheet on this claimed 700HP, as long as it's verifiable.

Is it too late to say that I like my Floor It Diesel stage 2 pump... . but I might want more fuel someday. I probably need larger injectors too though.

Oh yeah... mine sees more than the just the dyno :)

you are correct on most of your views, but any one can spike the dyno and make 1000hp but is it really-----no NADP's barry has a dually that puts down 630hp, yet he runs a 12. 50 all the time, 818hp @ 11. 80 it just dont add up--thats what i was saying. its not the peak power its the power under the curve, but thats my point of view.

I have never rode in RC's truck and dont know how much it weighs but I will take one mans word on how it at least runs on the rollers and how smooth the power is and thats David Dunbar, he has seen a few high HP diesels run and has dynoed a few as well.

Diesel power, you are exactly right,my et and hp do not match. Any one in Kentucky will tell you I lost my motor on the 11. 80 pass. It blew right past the 8th mile due to an oil pump failure. The pass before the 11. 80 was a 12. 20(i spun leaving the line)and ended up running 116mph. The 11. 80 was only 104mph. I lost 12 mph and still ran 11. 80. So yes the truck is faster as soon as I have proof I will show you. For the record on my 11. 80 pass my 8th mile was 7. 41@96mph was does that equate to in the quarter?I know I dont have the fastest commonrail and I have never claimed to have the best of anything(you know I have the pump mod and small turbos that dont work). You took it upon yourself to to bring me into this, why?I think most of these forums suck,I used to enjoy readind and learning and now its all people like you trying to sell someone elses parts. You make comments about owners of performance shops asking questions, what do you know, that how people learn. And finally if you like I can scan my dyno sheet there are no peaks just a BIG nice curve, maybe when you quit tearing everyone else down you can figure out how to get one yourself.

that was quite a bit of info i was unaware of, though i never said you had a slow truck, accually a while back i complimented it, but if it's working for you--great. also i don't tear your dyno #'s down i just questioned them, and from what you just said i was correct to question it, that shows that just maybe i do know what im talking about, and as far as having the fastest common rail, yes i do want that title, but it can only be for a little while. as of now i do have the fastest on diesel, w/ a single--and that is going to improve as well, and i will go as far as giving time slips and hopefully a vid, i probably wont dyno though.

first off let me apologize for boosting this thread.

maybe i am out of place by saying this but, as you can see in my sig, it clearly states NGM'S name. before anyone says anything about the quality of work that comes from this shop please ask yourself have you heard of any disappointed customers complaining about work being done wrong. NO. i have been turning wrenches for some time now. i will not let a truck leave a shop i work at, without knowing that i have done my absolute best, and it runs to my standards. thats not going to change working for NGM. also as for asking questions, i get the majority of my information directly from dealer connect as i work for a diamler chrysler dealership.

as for wade's truck i have been there through all of it. if wade's truck would stop eating fully built transmissions we would have had dyno numbers time slips and anything else anyone wants. we have things on wade's truck that no ones ever seen before. his truck is by far the only one of its kind anywhere period. so if everyone can be patient we will have answers to all of your questions soon enough.

maybe after all of this is said and done my truck will get some power :D

again i apologize for the long and boosted post.

"If you ever want to see some genuine 3rd gen power I sell you a dvd copy!"

you don't need to sell me a copy of anything. believe me i've seen all of your videos. i have the utmost respect for someone who can build a truck that runs like that, and for that matter is doing it in a truck that resembles mine in looks. and weight. mine tips the scales at 7300lbs

also in all of the videos i have seen of yours you are doing well. i dont see a point in showing anything that i have put so much time and energy in and everyone seeing it break. sorry but dont want that publisity.

after all of this i think you hit the nail on the head. Man , that's like losing a paycheck.

well on that last one we didn't make that event. like i said before though

you have my word of some very good numbers in the very near future. with all of the proof to back it up. once im all done with it we will be coming up to mason dixon to run. i will even bring my hope to break 13's truck. that has never made a pass. and put down 388/673. do you want to see proof.

with just the crazy larry program

One thing your missing. ;) the negative correction factor we dynoed in that day. You forgot to add the 3% back in. :-laf. So that puts you at a touch over 400 Hp with just crazy larry. Then with the injectors you should be all over 500 HP, if that is all you have done. :D So yeh, you could possibly break into the 13's, but that transmission is gonna hurt you.

i know i can shift fast enough but will the clutch hold up to a good launch. i havent done a very hard launch on this one. i figured i would not try to break anything on my truck for a while. im seeing some pretty high egt's with the crazy larry though. we will all see though.

First off, no one here can bad mouth NGM, (that I know of) Nor Relentless Diesel/RCCox except Wade! If you dont think so Robert go back and reread this thread! You or wade may deny it but I dont care and I would easily give my truck over to RD and let them go hog wild with it. I have the utmost respect for RC and RD for trying new things and proving alot of people wrong on this board via time slips and videos!

It sounds like to me that wade/NGM cant build a solid transmission? if its letting go and only running low 12's (alot slower than RC's truck who ran an 11. 8 while coasting through just past the 1/8th on due to a poped headgasket) Can NGM build or atleast assemble their own trannies or do they just sell everyone elses parts and dub them as thiers

604hp got be me a 15. 6 run and that was launching in 2wd and riding 2nd gear for a while as not to fry the tires...

Well the little Con ofe did not like that

If you want a good 1/4 with a stick, you better get a DD clutch and launch in like 3 (for me with a 5-spd) or maybe even 4th and ride it till the 100ft mark

Better make if a feramic

PS - that was at 98. 6 mph -- last time I checked, that was a 13 sec trap speed

Tomey, I have had a best of 15. 5 4wd 2nd gear (horrable 60 ft times bogging in 2nd because I didnt want to slip the FE to bad) and 95 MPH. If we could only launch in 3rd!
