Thanks for post the jig #'s .....

I had # 5 ... sent it to someone in Dallas . . next on the list (those that sent e-mail to me, with a list of who to send it to next!!) . . trying to run that down ... wasn't paying attention to the # on the jig ... we did 7 trucks here . . I even sent my regulator set-up out with it.

My hd crashed since then . . so . . I don't have a clue who I sent it to ... . but . . I have the old drive over at a friends ... trying to get info off of it ... ... .....

Was sent from here in Aug ... . I am breaking my A$$ trying to locate it!! Since this thread started ... ... urrggggghhhhh

Looking for a KDP Jig to enertain a ND - MN gathering.

Kinda short notice, but a gathering is planned for Feb 9th near Grand Forks ND for the few rammers up here.

Any jigs available in the upper midwest area?

Cooker?

I realize this is short notice and if it doesn't work, it will be a good reason for this group to get together again soon.

If this might work, PM me.

I would take responsiblity to get the jig back to you ASAP!

Calif jig

Brandon,

I am done with the Calif. jig & fan wrench # 8. It worked very well, I did not have to remove the fan shroud. Just removed the fan and let it sit there loose, then removed the fan mount 4 bolts. I was able to loosen the bolt behind the fan pulley, with out removing the 6 bolts and pulley. I will send CPFF $ 25. Those are great tool he built. Let me know who's next on list.

i jsut wanted to let everyone know that i am finished with the #9 jig and i am ready to send it on to the next person on the list. this past sat I helped stmpplr and **ICEMAN** fix both their trucks with success. stmpplr included a tool that we used on both their trucks to stick inbetween the bolts on the fan pulley so we could get the fan nut off. let me know who is next on the list.

donation to CPFF will be soon on the way

Yes - the screws are: socket head/ flat head 1/4-20 x 1" long.

Flat head screws are measured "overall length" which includes the head.

If you have trouble finding them, e-mail me, I just got 200 in today.

:D :D Killed a couple more this weekend. Thanks so much to CPFF for his time and effort to come up with the jigs. Didn't take more than an hour and a half or so to wipe out two trucks. Mine had almost 400K and it was a releif to know the pin was still in place. Hats off to all involved with tracking also.

KDP jig

Can anyone tell me how to get on the jig list? Also, how many actual incidents of the KDP have been reported? I'm curious as to the actual percentage rate for this problem. I have an e mail in to friends at Cummins to try to get some guidance. I'll send their comments when I receive them.

Thanks!

jk, 4% failure rate has been reported, much too high for $2k worth of damage. The rate will likely increase as our engines age. Good luck with Cummins, they know fully well about it. Problem is Dodge buys the engines from Cummins with no warranty, Dodge is the one who should take care of the problem, but you know their warranty/recall record. Sled Puller (Gene) is the one to PM for a jig in your area.

KDP Jig

Killed one today... Bro's truck. It is too easy not to do it. Get on a list and wait. But well worth the wait.

Thanks to CPFF and their fine work. Oh yeah, thanks to MBarnett for keeping up with the SE Jig, thanks to PWKnapp for holding it for an extra day, thanks to tearls for waiting the extra day.

Sounds like the Grammys.....
