Competition Friday night playtime!

Competition BIG MONEY PAYOUT PULL IN MISSOURI JULY 21st

MY CR HEAD SHOULD BE SHOWING UP AT HAISLEY MACHINE TODAY AND I WAS WONDERING WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST THINGS TO DO TO IT WITHOUT CUTTING OFF THE MANIFOLD, IT WILL HAVE THE HELIX VALVE SPRINGS THAT MATCH THE HELIX STAGE TWO CAM, I THINK A 3-ANGLE VALVE JOB IS PART OF THE REBUILD... I SENT THE HEAD IN DUE TO A FAILING VALVE SEAT, IT HAS 60,000 MILES ON IT, I WANT TO BE RUNNING IN THE 750 H. P. ON #2 AREA AND STILL BE VERY STREET FRIENDLY AND RELIABLE FOR ROAD TRIPS, HAULING, ETC... ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE MOST APPRECIATED THANKS...

I would ask them to do some bowl work..... clean this area up for better flow numbers, which would help your twin set up... .

Are they replacing all the seats or just the failed one? And which type of seat are they using?

i told them what i was planning and they said they would replace all of them with their recomended seat, i will ask about the bowl blend thanks

That CR head flows plenty. I wouldnt mess with taking away more meat.

Keep all the material you can help stave off cracking... just my 2 cents.

Not a race bowl job, just a simple clean up of the bowl, which will improve the over all flow in the head and still be dependable.....
