yes i have the cracked dash blues. i need a new one. i dont like the overlays. anyone know a good dealer to get one from?also cracked glove box need that also#@$%!

Most dealers are willing to give TDR members a discount if you ask nice

As big as they are I am sure shipping may eat up some shipping cost too.

Look here and you should be able to find what you seek at a salvage yard. I did a quick search using the entire country as a guide, since I do not know where you are located at,and found 20+ pages of dashes. Car-Part is a great source and should be in any owners favorites. I got my disc brake Dana 80 for my truck recently off of there... ... ... Andy

I was told by one parts yard that they would not even try to ship a dash. Apparently they have tried it and it never worked. I wish you luck and I'll be watching in case you find something. I ended up buying a dash mat to hide the problem. No idea what a new part from the dealer costs... I shudder at the thought.

try & see if you can find a dealer that can get just the top, I think I tried 3 before I found 1 (mopar part-go figure). The others would only quote me for the whole friggin' dash assembly ($800+ if I remember correctly). What I found once I pulled the mess out to re-do it was that the plastic inside the dash was just as brittle/dried out as the top had become (I live in phoenix). What I saved on parts I lost on the time it took fab up patches and repair panels (plastic, aluminum, some wood, lots of JB weld) to make the new top/old dash go together. Looks great but was huge P. I. T. A!!!

have fun!

Did you even go look at the website at all???????

Because IF you did then you would find out it has a state by state listing and can tell you how ffar away the salvage yard is from your home. So not only would it possibly need shipped you may even be able to pick it up.

I am not sure a junk yard part is the answer, even if you coul get them to strip a dash out for parts

Salvage Yard there Bob,not Junk Yard.

See a salvage yard is a place where you go to find parts to either add or repair something on your vehicle. Junkyard is where you take your broken freezer to get rid of it. I have dealt with many salvage yards in my time and gotten many guys dashes. The last one I got was for TDR member Rammin On and his 96. Complete dash, minus electronics for a $200.

Ah well. .

Its not my truck and I guess I should have just kept my mouth shut that way the naysayers couldn't complain... ... Andy

I am not complaining Hammer. Just offering my experience. I did go look at the site you had posted, and found nothing for me. As I stated, I bought a dash mat and that is fine for me. IF you ever care to take a look at where I call home, you will see that there are very few people here, let alone parts yards. I am sure if I lived in PA, as you do, I would be within a short jont from several hundred thousands parts yards as you seem to be. Here, I am 3-4 hours from the closest one that would even have a truck or two similar to mine with no prominse of anything useful.

Good luck to all who search and congrats to those who find.

Well I just looked for you Cowboy...

Since your in the Converse County area, which I am guessing is a burb of Casper, there are two listed in Buffalo two hours north of you... ... ... Andy

Thanks hammer... .

BTW - there are no "burbs" here in Wyo. I invite you to come on out sometime and check it out. You will drive 30, 40, 50, or 1hundred miles between towns sometimes and not even pass a house. It is a much different world out here.

Land area: 93k sq. miles

population: 450k

I'd love to come out and stretch out the long gun sometime and I know what you mean about the burbs,LOL. I have made many trips in a Big Rig across that beautiful country... ..... Andy
