Cracked Dash

It was 23 degrees this morning. Went to my 03 Ram and the dash has a long crack about center of the dash. This truck has been thru

45 below zero and typical northern summer heat. Wonder why it cracked at only 23 degrees. Does anyone make a replacement dash top?

Oh man, what a pain. Geno's carries both replacement caps and covers, check their website.

Cracking usually occurs when there are large differentials in temperature. Any chance it caught a burst of direct sunlight when it was still cold?

Thanks, I will check Geno's for a new dash top.



It may have got sum on it, but I doubt that would make it crack.

Last winter it dropped to 45 below at night, by noon it was a balmy

25 below but the sun was intense. The truck was actually hot inside, and no cracked dash.



Ah, the mysteries of plastic dashes.
