I'm with Jim. It's like 55mph: only a number on the way to something bigger... :D Piers, you pulling your hair out yet? ;)

I've learned my lesson. Watch your gauge (unless you're racing, of course)!
 
John, to me your situation points fingers at an oil cooler or a headgasket, Even tonight when I was up a Cummins getting parts they said they seen several situation like mine (I mean his) with cracks in cyl #3 or #4 leaking water to the push rod tube.

I'm hoping the seep of engine oil from between the head and deck points to a gasket and not a crack.



I'm scheduled at local diesel shop next week for a gasket exchange... and studs and o-rings as long as we're there.
