cracked mirror

My drivers side mirror is cracked and I need to replace it. It is a power / heated mirror and the manual says only serviced as a unit. So you have to buy a new mirror assembly to repair a crack in the mirror? Help!!!!!

You can buy just the mirror from the dealer. The element is glued to the back of it. Both of mine were cracked so I "bombed" to the Muth signal mirrors.

Check 'em out at http://www.kwmuth.com/. Signals (arrows) in the mirrors that activate when you hit your turn signal.
