Cracked steering gear box?

I noticed from the front of my truck the front pumpkin was wet, crawled underneath and found that the bottom side of the gear box was wet and steering fluid on the tie rods. Took it by the dealer and they are ordering a new box. It's not coming from the hoses, it looks like it is coming from between the frame and gear box. Can't physically see the crack. Has anyone else experienced this or heard of this? Also, My power lumbar in my cloth seats quit working. Has anyone experienced this??

i have heard of several folks that have had trouble with steering boxes. but most of thier problems had to do with them not returning to center. have not seen a problem with leaking. have not heard of anyone with electrical seat problems.

Beer Man crawled under mine the other day to change the oil and saw the that the steering box was wet on the bottom so I take it to the dealer and they said it is leaking from the jamnut and it will be about two weeks for a new box to come in.
