Anyone have this problem?? I am, but i think i solved it, but heres the story. First off, the line i have trouble with is the one that comes out of the front port drivers side of transmission and then goes to the heat exchanger under the turbo. Anyways, first line, original till about 100,000. The flaired part at the transmission cracks. In the mean time i break the fitting, so i put new line and found a fitting that looks REALLY close. two weeks go by, line unscrews itself, o ring is messed up, and truck is on side of road. Put new fitting in from dodge, think the one i thought was right wasn't. Put new one in everything is good, no leaking. The next day, drive about 150 miles, pull in somewhere with a trail behind me. Get under truck and look, line is leaking again, take line off, is cracked at a bend in the line closer to the transmission then the other side. put new line on, drive for two weeks, am home from college for the weekend, brother notices truck is leaking again, pull in the shop, take line off, fitting moves in the transmission, but is tight, go to unscrew it, and snap, breaks the fitting. Im ****** at this point, so i go to john deere and make a hydraulic line that screws directly into transmission, and connects to the check valve on the other side, hopefully wont happen again.

Anyone no whats going on, Nothing seems to be loose, no weird noise or vibration or clunking or anything. Anyone else have this trouble?? Sorry for the length, but thats the story. Thanks!!!

PS- if anyone wants the specs on the hydraulic line, let me know!!

My suggestion was going to be a flex line.

I run a aux transmission cooler under the bed so I come off where it goes into the water heat exchanger and run to the bed and back up into the water heat exchanger again.

Flex line is good :)

Specs would be nice for those who might need it.
