Has anyone had a problem with the rear speakers crackling real loud at any volume? One morning I came out and my batteries were dead, when I hooked up the jumper cables and opened the cab door "loud crackling" Had to turn the power to the stereo off, Of course the speakers worked fine when I got to the dealer When I told the Dealer the chain of events I got the "1000 yard stare" (hello anyone home!!) they threw parts at it ( new infinity rear speakers) and sent me on my way with out even trying to look into the cause. The cracklings back and hasn't drained the batteries. I have another appointment next week I was hoping to give them a little insight on the problem. Thanks.

Speakers

I had my right front speaker do that after the truck was about a month old. It started out doing it a little and after a few days was so bad i had turn volume off on that side to hear the radio. I took it in they said they replaced the speaker, who knows but it cured the problem and thats the main thing I guess. :)

I have had this loud noise also and it does not change volume with the volume control, the only way you can stop the crackling noise is to turn off the power. mine did it for a few weeks then went away and has never returned (been gone for 45,000 + miles) I did read a post on this a couple years ago thought it was a bad ground in the center of the dash or a booster/module under dash. I dont know if this helps but I hope you can find the problem:)
