I have a Putnam adjustable hitch that I recieved as a gift. I looks like an 8 year old welded it with weld splatter all over.

My stock hitch cracked on both sides as well as the one on my cousin's '97 and we both went with the Putnam. Mine has been working fine and I use it all the time in RV tansport. I have had up too 10k on it with no bars and about 1300 on the tongue and no issues. This is the first time I have ever heard anyone say anything bad about it.
