I started to replace my damper with a Fluidamper this PM. Got the stocker off and low and behold the crank pin was gone. I know what happened. When I did my cam install about 12k miles ago, I forgot to proper torque those bolts. After a few hundred miles I heard a rattling at idle. It was the tone ring. It only had about a mm of play and I got them torqued and all has been well. I'm sure it came out then. Question is can I just put on the damper (provided I line up the tone ring and damper correctly) or do I need to get a new pin. I don't plan on turning more than stock rpms and I hadn't planned on the pinning the Fluidamper.
