Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) is this a poss. for a code?

It is behind the starter, you also have to move the freaking dipstick tube to get it out. Had mine out last night. 2nd one. :-(

It is a PITA to get to without removing the VP.



It is much easier to remove the vacuum pump/PS assembly to get to it. Just get a new gasket (goes between the block and vacuum pump) if you do.





2001 - 2002 only have the cam position sensor between the VP-44 and the block. It goes into the front gearcase, and if I remember correctly, it takes a 5mm allen head to remove. If you had a 6" or so long allen wrench, you may be able to remove it easier.
