I was talking with a guy @ the deisel pump today that told me there was a TSB about rerouting the wiring to the CRANK SENSOR! something to do with it rubbing and causing it to throw P0336 codes! Anyone heard of this? TIA, Scott

My thanks to Scott for raising the issue and Buzzer for supplying the DTR. I posted comments and request for feedback under "O6 6 speed rattle" a few weeks ago and then found this. It got me to looking at the wiring harnes discussed in the DTR post. I don't know if the TSB that Scott mentioned applied to the '06's or not. I was getting what I believed to be ping in the 1600 -2000 rpm range. After digging around under there yesterday I heard a "click" when messing with a connector. It would appear that this connector had only one side fully engaged as my pinging has now gone away. I'm still keeping my appointment with Dealer tomorrow just to have it listened to and driven by a mechanic. Any feedback on what if any damage this may have caused that I need to be aware of? The truck has about 1. 9K on it. I have read about a way to 3 click the ignition to get any codes displayed but am apparently doing it wrong as nothing comes up. Anyone interested in providing a step by step refresher on how to do this?
