crank sensor

where is the crank sensor/ wire harness and where would a viper remote start tap into the crank sensor.

I am still having a problem with a miss and code p0016 and I want to disconnect the viper alarm from the crank sensor

CPS is on the front left corner of the engine, right under the CP3.

OK here are my findings

disconnected the position crank sensor from the viper remote start, went out and romped on it. No missing, no codes, feels like it should.



Also I forgot to mention about the barking turbo. with the crank sensor connected to the viper I had some turbo bark during converter lock and after taking my foot out of the pedal. I didn't think that this could be related however after disconnecting the sensor from the viper there is no bark whatsoever and still pegging the boost at 37psi



Can anyone explain this phenomenon to me?
