Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Crank sensors, which is the correct one??

I went to the Cummins engine dealer for a replacement for my crank sensor Part #4002066 and he came back with a #3408430. The new one does away with the hold down bracket and also is about 3/8 in. shorter!! Will this new one work or must I resign myself to go to the Dodge place?

Your advice please.

Went back to the Cummins place today and showed them what I had removed from my truck. They came back with the correct one. Now to get it installed!!
