I got what I'm sure is the front crank shaft seal dripping (getting worse) on my 92. I this a big project to fix.

I've done a couple with the front cover removed. Just a basic seal replacement but it was a beeoch to get the thing to start in there straight. I'm told it can be done without removing the cover but I can't see tearign the whole front of the truck apart as easy as it is to get the cover off.

It's pretty easy.

I did 5 this last week on 2nd gens and tabbed the KDP while I was in there.

The first gens I can do in about 1. 5 hrs.

Just remember the fan clutch threads are left hand and the tach pickup distance is about 2 business cards thick for the measurement.



Power wash the engine too.
